Mission Statement

The purpose of our book group is to create a welcoming social space for folks seeking intellectual discussion and meaningful interpersonal connection. We are affiliated with Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in the Loop, but we welcome book club members who are not part of the congregation.

Who We Are

Our book group began in 2024 with a focus on good books and great discussion. We invite participants to dive into each month’s selection and come prepared to share their thoughts. While our conversations are always friendly and respectful, they remain centered on the book to ensure everyone fully engages and enjoys the discussion. We read books of any genre but are specifically interested in excellent writing. Before and after each book discussion, we joyfully engage in unstructured social time. We enjoy being together!
